Students at Knight St Multi-Age Learning enjoyed a break in the wet and windy weather last week.

The children, from toddlers to kindergarten students, explored all the great outdoors had to offer on Thursday afternoon.

Knight St Multi-Age Learning focuses on providing a holistic education for its students, enhancing learning through play.

‘‘The younger children bounce off the older children and learn things off them throughout the day and the older kids take on a bit more of a leadership role,’’ educational leader Alicia McLean said.

The centre’s natural outdoor setting includes a chicken pen, veggie patch, climbing frames made out of reusable tyres and a range of other activities suiting all age groups.
