The generous work of helpers and volunteers at Mooroopna Primary School was celebrated during a morning tea event at the school on Friday.
‘‘It is important these people are recognised because they’re such an important part of the school,’’ principal Steve Rogers said.
Those in attendance helped with reading programs, excursions, breakfasts, fundraisers and after-hours learning clubs during the school year.
‘‘We know children have the most success when there is a strong partnership between the child, family and the school,’’ Mr Rogers said.
‘‘Add community (to that) and there is a much greater chance of success.’’
