Greater Shepparton’s Year 6 students enjoyed farewell ceremonies this week after graduating from their primary schools.

Orrvale Primary School invited parents to enjoy a breakfast at the school on Tuesday before the official graduation ceremony that evening at the GV Hotel, Shepparton.

Last Thursday, Kialla Central Primary School’s community had its formal celebrations where students shared ‘‘Primary School Memories and Future Dreams’’.

Students were given a graduation signature bear, photo, certificate and a pen before enjoying a meal together in the school hall.

Orrvale Years 5 and 6 teacher Stacey Karolidis said it was nice to mark the milestone for the students and gather parents, family and friends one last time together at the school.

‘‘They’re moving onto their next adventure and I think they’re ready,’’ she said.
