It was been a busy end to the year for Kialla Central Primary School students and their families.

Students gathered many items to donate to Family Care’s Baskets of Joy.

Principal Debbie Humphries said each Christmas the school did a community-based donation so students understood there were families less fortunate than themselves.

The school also enjoyed its annual Christmas lunch hosted by the parents’ club and farewelled the Year 6 students at a graduation ceremony on Thursday night.

‘‘This year we have decorated the school in Christmas lights and encourage people to check them out when they drive past,’’ Ms Humphries said.
