Notre Dame College students and St Brendan’s Catholic Church parish members presented a powerful Easter story on Good Friday evening.

The students acted out a series of tableaus known in Christian tradition as the Stations of the Cross, representing Jesus Christ’s journey from his condemnation to crucifixion.

A large crowd witnessed the 14 stations presented in a play with Bible verses, narration and song, with the support of a professional lighting and sound production, directed by Les Billings and with music arranged by Dale Wright.

The presentation has become a significant annual event on the St Brendan’s calendar.
