Goulburn Valley schools have received a budget boost on top of the funding to turn the big-thinking Shepparton Education Plan into bricks and mortar.

More than $21million will help make sure schools in Shepparton are built and upgraded.

In the broader community, Ardmona Primary School, Euroa Secondary College, Seymour College and Tallarook Primary School will each receive upgrades as part of an investment in education across the state.

More than $20million has already been announced for the Shepparton Education Plan to fund Stage 1 of a new secondary school and an integrated children’s centre at Mooroopna, while $500000 has also been earmarked for Ardmona Primary School to upgrade and modernise facilities.

The Victorian Government last month revealed Shepparton High School’s site would cater for the larger student body who will have access to the full breadth of the senior secondary curriculum, including VCE and VCAL.
