Mooroopna students experience virtual reality

By Shepparton News

Mooroopna Primary School students were transported to another world yesterday.

Students in Years 1 to 6 took part in a virtual reality session, taking turns wearing the portable goggles that depict an augmented version of reality.

Plenty of excited squeals could be heard in the room when students put on the goggles, each eager to give the high-tech devices a go.

It appeared it was not just the students who were in the on the fun, with teachers also having a turn, with education support officer Daniel Gommers showing students the ropes.
